Sky House Development

Navitas Solar Installations Ltd recently completed the installation of 44 solar panel systems on the Sky House Development located in Waverley, Sheffield. Each individual property on the development has a 1.8kWP (5 panels) system, which will produce 1504kWh each year.
The sleek and modern designs of these townhouses, built by Sky-House Co., incorporate solar pv technology seamlessly into the structures. Navitas worked closely with the Sky-House team to ensure that the solar panel systems were integrated into the architecture in a way which complemented the overall design aesthetic.
The installation was carried out safely and efficiently by Navitas’ experienced team of solar panel installers. The use of high-quality materials and technology means that the systems are expected to offer optimal performance rates and provide significant annual energy savings for each of the 44 Sky House properties.

Across three centres at Cleethorpes, Sleaford & Lincoln; Pennells offer a range of choice over many departments as well as restaurants providing homecooked meals and treats.
Pennells are keen to embrace their “green” credentials which includes resourcing their energy from sustainable sources. Navitas were engaged to design and install SolarPV to each of their three sites to maximise the potential that could be achieved based on the merits of each location. Navitas successfully delivered the projects at each centre without compromising the store opening times and with no disruption to the customer experience.

STAUFF UK Ltd is a member of a global organisation with sales, distribution and service facilities in 18 countries. The Sheffield Based headquarters covers more than 110,000 sq.ft and provides State-of-the-art Distribution Technology and Manufacturing facilities. Stauff UK have around 200 employees achieving turnover in excess of £30M.
Stauff UK are very keen to embrace energy measures in line with their environmental policy and SolarPV provides huge benefits towards reducing their Carbon Footprint whilst also providing great financial returns.
Navitas carefully planned the works to ensure that the facility remained operational throughout the project.
The scheduled works were completed on time despite the onset of winter and during a period of significant rain.

MPE Engineering Ltd

MPE provide electrical and mechanical installations to the large retail sector.
They are newly located at Dinnington on the Sheffield and Nottinghamshire boarders.
This installation was to complement their new offices to promote a green work place that was self supported and reduce capital outlay on electrical consumption.
The 38kWp grid tied G99 system will produce 25,500kW of carbon free electricity that will also help them to secure future contracts that require companies that are actively reducing their carbon output.

Advanced Engineering Techniques

AET provides a comprehensive fabrication and general engineering service to a broad range of industries, from Oil & Offshore and Renewable Energies through to Aerial Platforms and Agricultural Equipment.
They are situated in Sheffield on a 2.5 Acre site.
Navitas have installed a 350kWp system over three incoming supplies that will annually generate 270,000kW of green carbon free electricity.
This will insulate AET against future rising fuel costs and dramatically lower the company’s carbon footprint.

MMD Group

MMD are a world leading provider of sustainable mineral processing technologies for mining, quarrying and recycling industries.
They are situated in Derby located over two sites.
Navitas installed two systems with well over half a megawatt of panels all linked to a G100 relay system so that no electricity leaves the site, the local District Network Operator placed the restriction due to the local network upgrade program.
The generation from the addition of the solar is an expected 263,000kWp per year giving guaranteed fuel price costings for decades to come and further enhancing the company’s drive for sustainability.
