Navitas Solar Installations are delighted to announce that Niall Roulson has become our new Operations Director, marking an exciting step forward as the company continues to grow and deliver SolarPV projects across the UK.
Niall has been a key part of the Navitas Solar team, bringing with him over 15 years’ management experience within the electrical industry. During this time, he has worked across a wide range of commercial sectors including education, social housing, retail, healthcare and the NHS, giving him a strong understanding of the different demands, standards and expectations involved in delivering successful projects.
In his new role as Operations Director, Niall will oversee the day-to-day activities of our installation teams, helping to manage production, quality control, resource allocation and project delivery. His focus will be on making sure workflows are optimised, communication is clear, and customer expectations are met throughout every stage of the process.
As Navitas Solar Installations continues to work on larger and more complex commercial SolarPV systems, Niall’s experience will play an important role in supporting our teams on site and ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
Niall has already been involved in a wide range of key projects, including SolarPV installations for Rotherham Hospice, Kirkland Autism Unit in Yeadon, Stauff UK in Sheffield, Volvo Truck & Bus Centres UK, DHL in Normanton, and Rother Valley Country Park. These projects have included live working environments, healthcare facilities, storage and distribution centres, and major commercial sites where careful planning, communication and delivery are essential.
Alongside his industry experience, Niall holds a strong range of qualifications including City & Guilds 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Testing, NAPIT SolarPV Roof Certification, SolarEdge Certified Installer, Sol-Share Certified Installer and SMSTS.
Niall’s pragmatic approach, appetite for knowledge and ability to make clear, effective decisions will help bring unity to all stakeholders involved in each project. His focus on practical solutions and efficient processes will support the continued development of Navitas Solar Installations as we help more businesses reduce their carbon footprint and invest in renewable energy.
