Manchester City Council (Morgan Sindall)

Navitas Solar Installations Ltd successfully completed a significant solar panel installation at the rehabilitated Manchester City Council waste disposal and maintenance depot on Hammerstone Road, originally the Gorton Foundry site.

historical location was previously occupied by railway manufacturer Beyer and Peacock from 1854 to 1966. The project integrated over 2,190 SolarPV Panels, each with a capacity of 420 watts, designed to reduce carbon emissions associated with building processes and vehicle charging.
